The ITW Reyflex blunt point pin

The ITW REYFLEX blunt point pin ensures easy and secure application of ITW REYFLEX identification tags and most other tags on the market.

The ITW REYFLEX pin is machined STEEL.

The pin is heat treated : quenched, tempered and surface protected.

This treatment gives the pin very high mechanical properties.
In case of a violent shock, it will not bend. It will break and will have to be replaced. This is a deliberate choice to prevent the use a tagger with a bent pin, because it would lead to a difficult or wrong tag application and increase the risk of tag loss
